- يقيم في الولايات المتحدة حيث يدرّس الأدب الفرنكفوني في جامعة كاليفورنيا بلوس أنجلوس.
- كتب الشعر والرواية والقصة القصيرة والدراسة.
- من أعماله الشعرية: أسطورة التيه الأشجار أيضا تذرف الدمع حين يعلن الديك عن فجر يوم جديد - من أعماله الروائية: الأزرق الأبيض الأحمر جنازة أمي أحفاد فيرسين جيتوريكس الأفريقي المختل العقل مذكرات شيهم البازار الأسود زجاج مكسور غدا سأكون في العشرين من عمري - حاز العديد من الجوائز، من أهمها: جائزة "جان كريستوف" من جمعية الشعراء الفرنسيين، الجائزة الأدبية الكبرى لأفريقيا السوداء، جائزة "جورج براسانس"، وسام جوقة الشرف من الرئيس الفرنسي "نيكولا ساركوزي".
- حازت رواية "زجاج مكسور" على الجائزة الدولية الفرانكفونية عام 2005
Book Description
تحكي هذه الرواية "قدح مكسور"، قصة البلد الذي ينتمي إليه الكاتب، الكونغو، من خلال كتاب يحفظ قصة "حانة لوكريدي" من النسيان.
وفي الحديث عن تاريخ تلك الحانة تقدم مجموعة شخصيات هذه الرواية قصصها بطريقة ساخرة، لاذعة، مؤلمة، حيّة تنتقد نفاق المجتمع ورجال الدين والسلطة، وتصور من خلال ما تحكيه مشاهد المأساة التي يعيشها الناس في هذا البلد الأفريقي.
رواية قصيرة نسبياً لكنها زاخرة بالحياة.
