وأجمل الكلام ما تقوله الشاعرة سها شعبان في "مرايا روح": "تسكننا الروح قبل أن نصيح صيحتنا الأولى، قبل أن تتلقفنا الأيادي وتتقحصنا العيون. تعرفنا الروح ونعرفها. تبث فينا أحلامها قبل أن يقرر الآخرون اسمنا، وحتى قبل أن يستقرأوا شكلنا، ولون عيوننا، وعيوبنا الجسدية أو حتى إعاقتنا؛ فنأتي إلى الحياة مقبلين متلهفين نبحث عن جنة موعودة حدثتنا بها الروح، منا من يوفق بصورة حسنة أو بجسد كامل، فتبقى روحه مرفوفة حبيسة شكل قبيح أو جسد معاق.
ولأن الروح رسمت أحلامها قبل الصورة والجسد، ولأن الروح لا تعترف بصور المرايا، ولأنها ترفض التهميش؛ تبقى واجدة تواقة مرهفة تبحث عن مكانتها وعن موقعها…
استهواني استشفاف الأرواح وراء كل الشخصيات المنمقة التي التقيتها.. أحببت جميع الأرواح.. بجميع حالاتها.. ولها أحببت أن أكتب".
