هذا الكتاب هو عبارة عن رسالة تحتوي المواد المصروحة للبحث في المؤتمر الذي أقامه العلماء المسلمين للتقريب بين المذاهب الإسلامية برعاية ملك البحرين حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة.
وقد احتوى الكتاب على مقدمة وستة فصول وخاتمة، الفصل الأول: يتناول عدة محاور، الحوار مع كبار علماء الإسلام حول إتحاد المسلمين، الإشارة إلى الجوهر الحقيقي للحوار والجدل بالتالي هي أحسن، إن الخطوة الأولى نحو الإصلاح هي تطهير العقل من المفاهيم المبسترة؛ أما الفصل الثاني: فيتعرض: لكلمة التوحيد قضية الأنبياء الأولى، ذكر التصوير القرآني للأمة، ذكر التصوير القرآني للأمة، أما الفصل الثالث: فناقش الآثار السلبية للفرقة والإختلاف، إن تركيز الأنبياء كان ينصب في بوتقة شد الإنسان بالعالم الطبيعي المتوحد بكل مفرداته والتعرض لحقيقة القرآن الكريم الموحد للأمة، وذكر نماذج من مجاهدة الرسل في هذا السبيل.
أما الفصل الرابع: فأثبت النقاط التالية: 1-إن الأمة الإسلامية أمة إنذار على غرار إنذار الرسل والإنذار المحمدي، 2-التحقيق في البشارة والنذارة، أما الفصل الخامس فخصص في الإجتهاد، أما الفصل السادس: فبحث فيه شمول التقليد للمرأة المجتهدة.
