انتشرت في الآونة الأخيرة بين الشباب المسلم عدة مظاهر سلبية، وذلك بسبب التقدم التكنولوجي الهائل الذي أحرزه الغرب، وبالتالي الإنتصارات الساحقة التي حققها في جميع مجالات الحياة، ومن هذه المظاهر: 1-إهتزاز المَلَكة التي تضمن للإنسان الثقة بنفسه ودينه وموروثاته، 2-هوان عقيدة الفرد عليه مما يجعلها ليست ذات أهمية عنده، يستهزئ بها ويسخر من تعاليمها، وعلى إستعداد لبيعها بثمن بخس، 3-الإغترار بالدنيا والهيام بها، وكأنها هي الغاية والمنتهى، والغفلة عن الآخرة وتجاهلها تجاهلاً تاماً، وكأن الإنسان إذا فعل ذلك سيتحقق له ما يصبو إليه، وقد عاب الله سبحانه وتعالى ذلك المسلك واتهم أصحابه بالقصور العلمي، حيث قال عز من قائل: ﴿ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْ مَنْ تَوَلَّى عَنْ ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا (29) ذَلِكَ مَبْلَغُهُمْ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ﴾... [سورة النجم: الآية 29- 30].
4-إتّباع سفاسف الأمور، وهذا شيء طبيعي فيمن يعشق الدنيا، والنموذج الفذ في هذا المجال هي الفضائيات، فبينما تتناثر أشلاء المسلمين في المساجد والجامعات وديار الغربة، تبث الفضائيات الموقرة البرامج التافهة، والأغاني الماجنة، والأفلام الخليعة، وكأنها تعيش في عالم مختلف لا ينتمي لعالمنا المنكوب بأي صلة.
5-عشق المتع لدرجة عبادتها، وذلك بالضبط ما خطط له الغرب منذ بدايات القرن الماضي، فقد جاء في كلم صمويل زويمر رئيس جمعيات التبشير في (مؤتمر القدس للمبشرين) عام 1935م قوله: "إنكم أعددتم نِشْئاً لا يعرف الصلة بالله تعالى، ولا يريد أن يعرفها، أخرجتم المسلم من الإسلام ولم تدخلوه في المسيحية، وبالتالي جاء النشء الإسلامي مطابقاً لما أراده الإستعمار، لا يهتم بعظائم الأمور، ويحب الراحة والكسل، ويسعى للحصول على الشهوات بأي أسلوب... إنه يجود بكل شيء للوصول إلى الشهوات! أيها المبشرون: إن مهمتكم تتم على أكمل الوجوه".
