علمت أن جارتنا تستحضر الأرواح وأن الشيخ المجاور يتعاطى السحر وأن عليَّ أن أحمل أبرة أو دبوساً عندما أسير في الظلام لطرد الشياطين، فما هو "المعقول واللامعقول" في هذا الكلام؟...
قديماً قال أبو قراط "إن الفهم أسمى الفضائل لأنه يتجنب الإنسان الألم - أي يجنب الإنسان اللامعقول، نعم إننا لا نرى "الوجه الآخر" القبيح لمن يعمل الشرور، ولكنه نفسه يرى ذلك الوجه فيتعذب في كل حين، وقد لا يتعذب إذا كان بليداً فيحكم "حكم قرقوش" الجاهل البليد الذي هو على إستعداد لفعل أي شيء شنيع بطريقته الخاصة.
من المعقول أن نقول: نشعر، أحياناً وكأن نوراً يتفتح ويتألف من داخل نفوسنا، نورُ ينسكب علينا من سماوات أخرى لا نعرفها فنتمكن من النظر إلى أقصى خفايانا وتنبعث فينا رغبة "تصحيح المسار".
وقد لا يفرق الإنسان بين المعقول واللامعقول كمن لا يفرق بين "علم المنطق ومنطق العلم"، مثلما نخدع الإنسان بمنطق ظاهري فيقع في خطأ جسيم كالذي يرى السراب ويحسبه ماءً فلا يتزود بالماء اللازم للطريق، وعندما يحتاج الماء يرى أن السراب هباء أبعده عن الحقيقة.
لا تكن كالطائر الذي له رأسان يحاول كل منهما الطيران ببقية الجسم في الإتجاه الذي يراه فيحدث ما ندعوه "إزدواج الشخصية" فيكون حال البعض منهم حال بعض "الآباء والأبناء" عندما يدعي الآباء أنهم يريدون السعادة للأبناء ولكن يحرمونهم منها، وعلى العكس إذا كانت العلاقة بين الآباء والأبناء تتسم بالمداعبة والمحبة قال النتيجة ستكون الشعور بالأمن ونضوج الشخصية بعيداً عن الإزدواجية.
ومن حكايات المعقول واللامعقول ما يدور بين "النساء والرجال" فالمرأة كتاب إذا قرأ الرجل عاد لمطالعته لأنه لا يزال يجهل ما فيه، ويثقل رأس الرجل كلما خف رأس المرأة ويثقل رأس المرأة إذا خف رأس الرجل.
وعلى كل حال فالمرأة والرجل رفيقاً طريق أن حمل بعضهم بعضاً تخلصا من الغرق وإن تعاكسا انتكسا، فالخيمة بلا زوجة ربابة بلا وتر والخيمية بلا زوج وحدة وسهر.
