في هذا الكتاب قواعد مبسَّطة وميسرَّة بطريقة الجداول لرواية حفص، من طريق طيبة النَّشر، والجداول أنفع ما يُيَسِّر ومُسلَّم به عند أهل العلم بهذا الفن.
يقول عنها شيخ القراء في الديار الشامية الأستاذ الشيخ محمد كريم راجح: "علماء القراءات حرصاً منهم على أن يحرروا الوجود كتبوا في ذلك كتباً سموها كتب التحرير، والتحرير معناه أن يقرأ القارئ الطيبة، وهي تجمع عدة كتب تختلف رواياتها ووجوهها عن بعضها بحيث يقرؤها وكأنه يقرأ كتاباً واحداً، بحيث لا يخلط وجهاً من هذه الوجوه التي لم ينصُّ عليها في كتاب مع وجه آخر نص عليه فيه، فهو وإن يقرأ الكتب التي جاء بها ابن الجزري كلها في وقت واحد وأداء واحد، فإنه بهذه التحريرات كأنه يقرأ كتاباً واحداً، وفي ذلك من الصعوبة ما فيه، وكل هذا حتى لا تتداخل الأوجه، ولا تختلف الروِّايات، ولا يحصل التلفيق".
إن (رواية حفص) عن عاصم هي المقروء بها في غالب أصقاع العالم الإسلامي، فقدَّم المؤلف هذه الرواية عن طريق طيبة النشر، لأنها حوت كلَّ الأوجه الصحيحة المتواترة عن هذا الإمام.
