جاء الكتاب تحت عنوان "الصين تربط العالم: الخلفية التي تستند إليها مبادرة الحزام والطريق" وهو من تأليف وانغ ييوي وترجمة ربيع هندي ومراجعة وتحرير مركز التعريب والبرمجة في بيروت.
قدمت الصين للعالم اقتراحاً عظيماً أسمته "مبادرة الحزام والطريق" وهي مبادرة ترتكز على خمس خطط أساسية وهي: سياسة التنسيق والتعامل، وربط البنية التحتية، وربط التجارة، وتدفق رأس المال وتعزيز ثقة الشعوب ببعضها من خلال استخدام الأساليب الصحيحة لتحسين العلاقات بين المجتمعات الإنسانية نحو مستقبل مشترك أفضل للجميع. في كتابه "الصين تربط العالم" يشرح الكاتب الصيني وانغ ييوي "الخلفية التي تستند إليها مبادرة الحزام والطريق" ويوضح منطق هذه المبادرة من منظور التاريخ والاقتصاد والثقافة والدبلوماسية والعولمة بأسلوب مبسط ، أما فيما يخص الوقت الحالي، تساعد هذه المبادرة على تحقيق القيم التنموية الخمس للبشرية والتي هي الإبداع والتنسيق والتنمية الخضراء والانفتاح والمشاركة، وتسعى إلى خلق إصدار العولمة الثالث V3.o والذي يركز على العولمة الشاملة، وذلك لتمكين الدول النامية من تحقيق النهوض وتجاوز الصعوبات وتغيير المسارات بالإضافة للإحياء المشترك للحضارات البشرية.
يبقى أن نشير أن هذا الكتاب يستند لدراسة عن المبادرة مبنية على كتاب "مبادرة الحزم والطريق: ما الذي ستقدمه الصين للعالم في نهضتها"، وهو أول عمل أكاديمي صيني يفسر مبادرة الحزام والطريق من منظور العلاقات الدولية
