إنّ البحث عن المعنى أو عن الشّكل الذي يتّخذه المعنى لحظة ولادته في النّص وفي رحلته من الكاتب إلى القارئ هو ما يمثّل إنشغالي النّقديّ؛ الإنشغال الّذي يبعد في هذه المرحلة من إستراتيجيته القرائيّة إصدار الأحكام القيمية إيجاباً وسلباً، مدحاً وقدحاً، إنّه الإنشغال الذي أسمه بــ (الممارسة النّصية) التي تكرّس المفاهيم والأدوات الإجرائيّة الّتي بحوزة المناهج النّقديّة دون الوقوع في تناقضات ابستمولوجيّة معرفية، وذلك باللجوء إلى مفهوم ناظم يوظّف الأداة النقديّة في الموضع الذي تثبت فيه نجاعتها، ومن خلال الإعتماد على رؤية واضحة إلى النّص في ذاته وإلى النّص في سياقه، سواء أانتقلت تلك الممارسة النّصيّة من البنية إلى الدّلالة أو العكس.
فالمعنى الكامن في البنى أو البنى الّتي تحمل المعنى أو تدل عليه هو موضوع هذه الممارسات النصيّة الشعريّة والسّرديّة وهو ما تستهدفه، وما تسعى فصول هذا الكتاب إلى تقديمه.
إنّها، حقاً، رحلة البحث عن المعنى من نص إلى نصّ، من تجربة إلى تجربة، من جنس إلى جنس؛ هذا المعنى الذي نتلقّاه وتفضي به النّصوص طواعية أو نتأوّله في ملامسات لنصوص تتمنّع وترفض البوح للملامسة الأولى... للقراءة الأولى.
