"ماذا أفعل بأجنحتي الآن" ديوان شعري يضم ثلاثون قصيدة للشاعر اللبناني "ماهر الخير" في الشعر العربي الحديث. وفي هذا العمل قصائد دبحت فيها المفردة بحلَة لبنانية مهجرية متميزة نسجها خيال الشاعر ونزعته الرومانتيكية، وصفاً ومضموناً ومزاجاً فجاءت القصيدة أشبه بلوحة تجريدية تعبَر تعبيراً عميقاً عن أحوال التركيبة المبهمة للعالم الحديث المعاصر.
مفردتان أساسيتان في شعرية ماهر الخير هي المكان والحب، الحب لديه بلا مكان ما جعل له وطناً في شعره.
يقول في قصيدة بعنوان [ما هذا الحب يا الله!] "بصمت ملاك ينسل إلينا/ نفتح الأبواب والنوافذ/ نرش الغاردينيا عند المداخل/ نزين الجدران القديمة/ بالأيقونات/ نلمع الأديرة/ نضيء المآذن/ نحير الخزائن/ نلبس السحب العابرة/ دشاديش بيضاء/ نفرش الطرابيش التركية الحمراء/ نشعل الأشجار في المغارب/ ما هذا الحب يا الله!(...)".
"من السَّحَابِ سَأكونُ أصْغَرَ من قّشَة والرِّيحُ أضْعَفُ من أنْ تقذفَني إِلى عينيك ماذا حَلَّ بالمدينةِ بَعْدَك! من يُصَدِّقُ أنَّ البُحَيْرَاتِ الزرقاءَ النائمة تمسِي في الليلِ سَاحَاتٍ للمَذابح؟ رَأسِي مُعَلَّقٌ عَلَى فَرْعِ شَجَرَة وقَلبِي بُومَةٌ تنوح ليَصْطَادَهَا عَابر...".
