إنَّ سورة الفاتحة من أعظم السُّور القرآنيَّة، لورود الأحاديث الصحيحة في فضلها وما اشتملت عليه من الفوائد والمزيا، فهي أمُّ القرآن الكريم لإحتوائها على جميع ما فيه، وأوَّل سورة يبدأ بكتابتها في القرآن العظيم، ويبدأ بها في الصَّلاة؛ إذ تكفي عن غيرها من السُّور ولا يكفي غيرها عنها، ولمكانتها وشرفها تعدَّدت أسماؤها، لأن كثرة الأسماء تدلُّ على شرف المُسمَّى، ولها حِكم وفوائد كثيرة نافعة للمسلم، ذكرها أهل العلم في كتبهم.
وقد اهتمُّ العديد من العلماء بها فأفردوا لها تعليقات وتقاييد معتبرة، كلٌّ على حسب مستواه العلمي، أو حسب نظرته لمجتمعه وزمنه، فكان منهم المُكثر، وكان منهم المختصر، ومن هذه التعليقات عليها كتابنا هذا للعلاَّمة سيدي محمد بن عبد الكريم المغيلي التلمساني (المتوفّى سنة 909 هجرية) والموسوم بــ "تفسير سورة فاتحة الكتاب ذكرى لأولي الألباب" حيث أفاد فيه من خلال توضيح المعنى، وشرح القراءات، والتفصيل بذكر فوائدها.
