كنت مسيحيًا ثم هداني الله إلى الإسلام, منذ حوالي خمسة عشر عامًا أو يزيد, وكنت يومئذ أبلغ من العمر أربعين عامًا, وكنت شماسًا في كنيسة العذراء مريم في محرم بك بالإسكندرية, وكان أبي "سليمان بطرس عبد الملك" واعظًا نشطًا في جمعية أصدقاء الكتاب المقدس في محرم بك. وشاء الله أن يكون (أبي) هو أحد أسباب هدايتي للإسلام.
وشاء الله أن يهديني, وقرأت عن الإسلام, وسألت المسلمين, وقرأت القرآن وآمنت بالله وأسلمت وجهي لله اقرأ ملخص قصة إسلامي على موقعي. وساعدني إخوة أفاضل في عمل موقع على شبكة المعلومات, ونشرت عدة موضوعات عن الرد على بعض كتب القساوسة التي تهاجم الإسلام, وعن الاختلافات داخل صفحات الكتاب المقدس عندهم, وجاءتني رسائل من أفراد ومواقع مسيحية, يهاجمون الإسلام, وكتبت لهم الرد وأرسلته إليهم, فلم يرد أحد منهم, فقمت بنشر الردود كاملة على موقعي.
ولما ازداد نشاط المنصرين في جامعة الإسكندرية, طلب مني بعض الإخوة أن أرد عليهم, فلم أجد أفضل من تجميع الردود على الشبهات الهامة التي وصلتني على موقعي, وأقوم بإعادة توضيح الرد عليها ونشرها, والله الرحمن المستعان على ما يصفون.
