غابت الحقيقة ونشأ الخلاف بين المتأخرين في مسألة الحجاب ( تغطية الوجه) بسبب انقطاع العبودية ( ملك اليمين) وغياب أحكامها. فإن الحجاب مختص بالحرية; فهو فرض على المرأة الحرة عن الرجل الحر؛ فلم يفرض على المرأة الحرة أن تحتجب من العبد المملوك . ولم يفرض على المرأة المملوكة أن تغطي وجهها. وهذا أحدث اللبس عند المتأخرين فاستشهدوا بكشف الإماء المملوكات وبنظر العبيد المملوكين للوجه والكفين من المرأة الحرة على جواز كشف النساء الحرائر من الرجال الأحرار!! فلا خلاف حقيقة في وجوب الحجاب على المرأة الحرة . وابن عباس بريء مما نسب إليه. وحديث أسماء حمل على غير محمله. والمرأة الخثعمية كانت من الإماء . والكثير من الفوائد والفرائد والمسائل المتعلقة بالحجاب تجد بيانها وتفصيلها في كتاب ( كشف الغمة عن أدلة الحجاب في الكتاب والسنة بمناقشة رأي الشيخ الألباني وجلاء الحق للأمة) الذي استغرق البحث فيه خمسة عشر عاما استنفذ فيها غاية الوسع والجهد ليكون بين يديك سهلا ماتعا.
