ذكر الشارح في مقدمته أن شرح العلامة عبد الحق الخير آبادي لأجل دقته لا يكاد ينتفع به المبتدئ، فأراد أن يشرحه شرحاً يكون في مستوى المبتدئ وينتفع به، وضمنه الفوائد التي سمعها من شيخه مولنا إلهي بخش الفيض مراد آبادي أثناء قراءة المرقاة عليه، وزاد عليه بعض الفوائد، 3-حاشية المرآة على المرقاة للفاضل محمد عماد الدين الشيركوتي، طبعت مرات على هامش كتاب المرقاة.
