"الثّقب الأسود": هو العنوان الذي اختاره الرئيس نبيه برّي، ليزيّن صدر هذا الكتاب، عنوانٌ من كلمتين ثقيلتين، تختزنان تشخيصاً عميقاً لما آل إليه حال لبنان، وخوفاً على وطن كان جميلاً، وصار مهدّداً بالتشتّت والتلاشي والزوال الكارثي.
عنوانٌ يستبطن إنذاراً من مصير دامس؛ فكما في فضائنا الخارجي، يختبئ غولٌ مرعب، هائل الحجم والوزن، صادم العتمة والظّلام، وظيفته إصطياد النّجوم وإبتلاعها، وإدخالها في دوّامة جهنميّة يستحيل عليها الخروج منها، فتبقى أسيرة فيها إلى ما لا نهاية... سمّاه العلماء، "الثّقب الأسود"، فكذلك في فضائنا اللبناني يختبئ "ثقبٌ أسودٌ" مهولٌ، يوشك أن يصطاد هذا البلد ويبتلعه.
الفارق بين الأمرين، أنّ الثّقب الفضائيّ ظاهرة فلكيّة حيّر العلماء، بكيفيّة تكوّنه، وقدرته الهائلة على جذب النّجوم والأجرام وكلّ شيء إليه، وحتى على إمتصاص الضوء.
وأمّا الثّقب اللبنانيّ، فهو غولٌ جائع من صنع البشر؛ حفرته سياسات متناحرة، وجبهات متقاتلة، وإرادات متصادمة، ومعالجات فاشلة، ونوايا عقيمة، ورؤى متضاربة، وإنقسامات عميقة، ونكايات فاضحة، كلّها أدوات حفر، فسّخت الكيان، وانقلب معها حال لبنان من جمع ووحدة وتأخٍ، إلى شتات وجفاء وإفتراق، حتى كاد ينطبق على حال اللبنانيّين وتفرّقهم.
