للقصص عموماً في النفوس وقعٌ عجيبٌ، وله أثرٌ في القلوب عظيمٌ، فهو من أهم مقومات التربية، ومن أعظم أسباب تقويم النفوس، وتهذيب الأخلاق، وقصص القرآن وقصص النبوة، أبلغُ أثرًا في القلوب، وأعظمُ وقعًا في النفوس، وشأنه أعجب من قصص الناسِ، فإِنَّهُ أحسنُ القصصِ، وأكمله، وأبلغه، كَمَا قَالَ تَعَالَى: ﴿نَحنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيكَ أَحسَنَ القَصَصِ﴾. [يُوسُفَ: 3]، وهو أصدق القصص فليس فيه من المبالغات التي تمجها النفوس، وتأباها العقول كما يوجد في كثير من القصص التي يتداولها الناس، فيسرح القاص بخياله، فيتكلم بما لا يُعقَلُ، وينطق بما لا يُقبَلُ، فيقل تأثيرُ القِصَّةِ في النفوسِ، أو ينعدم بالكلية؛ لأَنَّ المستمعَ يعلمُ أنَّه محضُ افتراءٍ، وأنه مجرد كلام للتسلية، وتضييع الوقت، أما القصص القرآني، والقصص النبوي فحقٌ لا مريةَ فيه، وصدقٌ لا يداخله كذبٌ؛ ويقينٌ لا يخالطه شك؛ كَمَا قَالَ تَعَالَى: ﴿نَتلُو عَلَيكَ مِن نَبَإِ مُوسَى وَفِرعَونَ بِالحَقِّ لِقَومٍ يُؤمِنُونَ﴾. [القصص: 3]
وهذا كتاب يحتوي على ما صح من القصص النبوي، معزوًّا إلى مصادر السنّة الأصلية، مشتملًا على تعريف القصص، والفرق بين القصص والحديث، وبيان سمات القصص النبوي، وفوائده، مع شرح لغريب الألفاظ، وما في القصة من دروس مستفادة، وفوائد مستجادة، وحكم تربوية، وآداب نبوية، مع الإشارة إلى مواطن العظة والاعتبار، من خلالِ شرح متوسطٍ، ليس بالطويل فيُمَلُّ، ولا بالقصيرِ الذي يعتريه الخللُ.
