هذا الكتاب مجموعة من البحوث المتعلقة بمناهج تحليل الخطاب، و قد كانت لي مداخلات و مشاركات في مؤتمرات دولية بمثل هذه الموضوعات التي تعينت عندي معالم في مناهج تحليل الخطاب. الحقيقة أن المعالم التي أتحدث منها الفرعية ممثلة في الموضوعية و الذاتية و التحول من الصراع المنطقي الأبدي الذي جمع بينهما إلى التكامل بين المصطلحين بما يصنع نموذجا ثالث، أساسه الجمع بين ذاتية الطرح و موضوعية التدليل عليه. و منها أيضا معلم الشمولية في مقابل معلم الانتقاء، و هما مبدآن يظهر أحدهما طبيعته و طبيعة الآخر؛ فإن اقتصر التحليل على ظاهرة دون غيرها فهو الانتقاء، و هو بذلك يظهر طبيعة الشمولية التي لا تتوقف عند موضوع جزئي بذاته ، بل تتعداه إلى كل الجزئيات الأخرى التي تجعل التحليل شموليا يأتي على كل مكونات الخطاب. و أصل المعالم ما جاء رئيسيا فيها من قبيل التحول إلى المضامين بعد أن كان التحليل لا يتعدى البنى اللسانية؛ فمن ذلك مسألة العلوم المعرفية و علم الدلالة الذهني في مقابل علم الدلالة التوليدي، و منه أيضا البنية في الموضوعات و المناهج و التخصصات و علافتها بتحليل الخطاب؛ و الثالث معلم التجريب و القياس في مرحلة الحداثة بجريان لاحق على منوال سابق يقاس عليه طريقة و أداء، و مثله معلم التجربة الفردية في مرحلة ما بعد الحداثة، و هو الساري من غير منوال سابق و لا نموذج يحاكى. و آخر المعالم الرئيسية الفضاء الفكري و الفلسفي مع بيتر سلوترديك في منظوراته الرغوية و فقاعات الاتصال و التواصل، و كذا ما أسس له زيجمونت باومان في نظرية السيولة القيمة التي أحدثت تغيرات في المفاهيم الإجرائية و الأدائية في مقابل الثوابت المعجمية. و على هذا بدا الاعتقاد في مرحلة ما بعد الحداثة مخالفا لسابقه في مرحلتي الحداثة و ما قبلها.
