ظهرت الأوبئة المعدية منذ قديم الزمان، وأهلكت الآلاف من بني الإنسان. وقد دل مجموع الهدي المبوي الشريف في الوباء على أسبقية الإسلام في الوعي الصحي والحماية لطبية، ودقة إرشاداته في الحد من انتشار الأوبئة بين البرية، لما قرره من إجراءات وقائية. وهذه المزية تبرز عظمة الرسالة النبوية، وتظهر صحة النبوة المحمدية، وتسبل عليها من لطائف أحكام الطهارة أبعاداً إعجازية. لذا فقد اقتدى المصنف بالأئمة الأعلام وحفاظ الإسلام، فجمع أربعين حديثاً في الأوبئة والأسقام. وقد وزعها على كتب ثلاث: العقيدة والفقه والنزكية. ملتزماً فيها أبرز ما انتهجه العلماء في الأربعينات، من الصحة والاختصار وغزارة الإشارات. ثم قام بشرحها بأسلوب عصريّ ميسر دون إلغاز أو تعقيد. والمؤلف هو أبو زكريا الحسيني، درس العلوم الشرعية منذ الصغر على والده وأجازه أبرز علماء لبنان والعالم العربي في القرآن والحديث والفقه الشافعي وأصوله. وحصل تالتوازي على إجازة في القانون وأخرى في الشريعة، ثم دكتوراه في الفقه الإسلامي. حالياً يدرس العلوم الشرعية في العديد من المؤسسات الجامعية في لبنان وفرنسا. كما يدير معهد الإمام الشافعي المتخصص في تدريس العلوم الشرعية باللغة الفرنسية على الشبكة الإلكترونية. وكذلك قمنا بإصدار نسخة فرنسية من هذا الكتاب مع الحفاظ على النص العربي.
