وقد جمعت هذه الأحاديث وسميتها (الأربعين الكابلية في تبرك الصحابة بآثار خير البرية)، وقد جعلت رقم الحديث على ترقيم فتح الباري لكي يسهل الرجوع إليه لشرح الحديث.
