ففي الوقت الذي يزدحم الزوار عند ضريح النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الطاهر بالمدينة، يتدافع آخرون حول ضريح ابن عمّه عليّ رضي الله عنه في النجف، وآخرون حول ضريح الحسين رضي الله عنه في كربلاء وضريح عليّ بن موسى الرضا رضي الله عنه في خراسان ويستقبل غيرهم ضرائح الصحابة كبلال في سوريا وسلمان في العراق... وهذا التزاحم والحماس لا يختص بطائفة دون أُخرى، إذا الحبّ والوفاء لكلّ العظماء الذين حملوا راية الإسلام والحق راسخٌ في قلوب المسلمين كافة.
وهذا الكتاب هو محاولة لمناهضة كلّ ما يخدش مشاعر مليار مسلم ويثبت بالأدلة الشرعية جواز بل إستحباب زيارة قبور المؤمنين وأن ليس ثمة حرمة ولا كراهة في البين.
