Book Description
أبو منصور الثعالبي هو عبد الملك بن محمد بن إسماعيل الثعالبي النيسابوري، أبو منصور، العلامة، شيخ الأدب. كان رأساً في النظم والنثر. نشأ في نيسابور، وعمل في خياطة جلود الثعالب فنسب إليها، وكانت ولادته سنة 350هـ ووفاته سنة 429هـ. اشتغل في الأدب والتاريخ فنبغ، وألف وصنف الكتب الكثرة أهمها وأشمها الكتاب الذي بين يدينا لباب الآداب، والذي ضمنه غرر الأدب ودرره وفصوحه ونكته، وجعله في ثلاثة أقسام أولها في اللغة وثانيها في النثر المرسل من لطائف ألفاظ المخاطبات والمكاتبات، وثالثها في الشعر، إذ أثبت عيون الأشعار وأحاسنها من العصور المختلفة وبالتسلسل الزمني، أي أنه بدأ بالجاهلين ثم المخضرمين وصولاً إلى عصره.
ولأهمية هذا الكتاب اعتنى الأستاذ أحمد حسن بسبح بتحقيق مادته معتمداً على النسخة الوحيدة التي يملكها وهي النسخة الألمانية، فعمل على إصلاح ما في المخطوط من سقط وتحريف وغلط، وذلك بالرجوع إلى مؤلفات الثعالبي، ودواوين الشعر فضلاً عن أمهات الكتب الأدبية، كما واعتنى أيضاً بشرح ما رآه ضرورياً لفهم النصوص في كلام غريب، وخرج الأشعار وقارن بين الروايات المختلفة، وكذلك خرّج الآيات العربية والأحاديث النبوية الشريفة والأمثال المستشهد بها في القسمين الثاني والثالث من الكتاب وذلك باعتبار أن القسم الأول منها والمسمى "فقه اللغة وأسرار العربية" يعد من الكتب التي نالت شهرة وذاع صيتها بين أيدي القرّاء ولذلك لم يعتنى المحقق بإدراج نصها في كتابه هذا وإنما تجاوزه إلى القسمين الثاني والثالث، وعليهما انصب جهده وحولهما دار عمله.
