علاقة الشعر بالحَجْب والإختراق علاقة وثيقة وجدلية، وهي علاقة تتجاوز حدود المنطق لتدخل في فضاء الإحساس والحدس والعرفان والمعرفة، فللرؤى والأحلام والأوهام والمعتقدات والموروثات والطقوس، تفاعل حميم مع الشعر وبؤرته الباطنية العميقة وفضائه المخصّب بالغموض والتشظّي.
والجسد حلقة مهمة من حلقات التجلّي النصّي سواء على صعيد الرؤية الفضائية للنص الشعري ذاته أم على صعيد إحتكاك لغة الجسد في طبقات هذا الفضاء، فلم يكن إطلاق الجسد في الفضاء الشعري لغايات شكلية ودعائية تسويقية، بل لكي يقول ويعبّر ويدين ويعلن ويشير ويتحرر من صنميّته وينطلق إلى إنجاز وظيفته التشكيلية والسيميائية الرمزية معاً، على النحو الذي يجعل من القول الشعر وسيلة لكسر ظلمة الحجب وفتح مغاليقه وفكّ شفراته.
إن مقاربتنا لشعر "أمل الجبوري" في هذا الكتاب، تتضمن استنطاق شعرية الحَجْب في خطاب الجسد، تلك الشعرية التي اشتغَلَتْ عليها تجربتها في نطاق البحث عن رؤية جديدة يتجلّى فيها فضاء الجسد على نحو تشكيلي وسيميائي يرمز إلى محنة لإنسان في زمن مشغول بالحرب والقهر وتجريد الطبيعة من نقائها.
