"تنوير الأذهان بمواضيع القرآن" هو فهرس مفسر للمواضيع القرآنية. والجدير الجدير بالإعجاب فيه هو اختيار المؤلف للموضوع لا كما هو في ظاهر ألفاظ الآية أو الآيات، حيث وجد المؤلف بأن ظاهر الآيات اللفظي لا يطابق مطلقاً حقيقة الموضوع وجوهره، ومن هنا يقع الناس في الخطأ الموضوعي. وأما منهجيته في هذا البيان فقد جاءت على النحو التالي: وضع المواضيع تحت عنواني رئيسية مرتبة حسب أهميتها الفقهية، عند استغراق الموضوع أكثر من آية كشاهد قرآني في سورة واحدة وضع هذه الآيات بصورة متسلسلة مع الإشارة بالأرقام. تفصيل فروع الموضوع الواحد بصورة تامة لتمكين القارئ والباحث من الإحاطة به والوصول إلى مبتغاه بأسهل صورة ممكنة. اجتزاء ما يفيد كشاهد قرآني على الموضوع من الآية، وذلك لوجود آيات طويلة جداً تبلغ الصفحة الواحدة وتتعدد فيها الموضوعات والأغراض، إيراد التفسير والبيان إذا كان ضرورياً قبل الشاهد القرآني والمقصود بعبارة التفسير والبيان هو تفسير لفظة أو معنى غامض في الآية بواسطة التعليق المدوّن إزاءها. عدم تكرار الموضوع الرئيسي (العنوان) في الفروع الخاصة به، حصر بعض المواضيع أو العناوين الصغيرة في داخل مستطيل رغبة في إبرازها للعين.
