لم يذكرهم التاريخ الغربي كثيرًا لأن فلاسفة اليونان رفضوا أن يذكروهم لحقيقة مرة وهي أنهم تعلموا الفلسفة منهم حيث جاءوا جميعًا إلى مصر مع احتلال الاسكندر الأكبر لمصر ونهلوا من علمهم وفلسفتهم.. ويتضح تأثر فلاسفة اليونان بالمصريين في أنهم اعتمدوا الفلسفة النظرية اللاهوتية كما كان يعتمدها فلاسفة مصر القديمة. وظلت الفلسفة في أوروبا تعتمد هذا المنهج حتى جاء فرانسيس بيكون وجعلها عملية لخدمة العلوم المادية.
لقد وضع المصريون الأسس الحقيقية للفلسفة من حيث علاقة الإنسان بالكون والآلهة وتفسير سلوك البشر حسب هذه العلاقة، لقد صنع المصريون (أول كل شيء في التاريخ) وكان من أهم ما صنعوه هو الفلسفة التي سرقها سقراط وأفلاطون وأرسطو وفيثاغورث من مصر.
