وفي هذا الكتاب بحثٌ جمع فيه المؤلف أحوال وخصائص ومناقب مؤمني أهل الكتاب وفق ما جاء به الشرع الحنيف، مبرزاً مكانة هؤلاء في الإسلام على وجه الخصوص، ومقدار الأجر والثواب المعدّ لهم، وواجب المسلمين نحوهم، وواجبهم نحو الإسلام. والغرض من جمع مناقبهم... هو التركيز بأحوالهم في الماضي والحاضر وما ينبغي أن يكون عليه مستقبلهم.
