هي كلمات في الهواء تبثها آمنة المحب، إلى بني الإنسان، نسجت حروفها بأنين أعماقها، وبحسرات من ذاتها، لتبوح لهم بما يعتمل في نفسها، من هوى، وشوق وحنان إلى عالم آخر، ينتفي منه الظلم وتسوده المحبة، ولكن، عبثاً، يجيبها هذا العالم: "... أتخرجين إلى عالم/ لا يشتري بضاعتك/ بلا شيء/ ويشتري اللاشيء/ بكل ما لديه؟؟.../". وبهذا تتكشف الكتابة الشعرية عند الشاعرة آمنة المحب عن كونها هماً حياتياً وتاريخياً ويومياً، صيغت بلغة فنية متنوعة الثيمات، تحتشد في متنها مستويات دلالية، تستند على وقائعية الأفعال في المشهد الحياتي.
تحت عنوان (غربة) تقول الشاعرة: "كبيرة أنت الأرض/ وواسع أيها الفضاء/ وروحي/ هائمة حائرة/ تبحث عن الوطن،/ عن الحب،/ عن الدفء/ لا تكل ولا تتعب (...)/ فإلام تبقى روحي/ أسيرة تتوجع/ وإلى متى أبقى/ في غربة دائمة واغتراب؟؟...".
هكذا تثري الشاعرة آمنة المحب خطابها الشعري بمنظومة ذهنية وحسية تتسع لمديات فضاء شعري متوهج في مستوياته الدلالية وأنظمته الحياتية المجسدة في المحمول الحلمي والجمالي في آن معاً...
يضم الكتاب خمسة وعشرون قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "كلمات في الهواء"، "سفر"، "همس المغيب"، "شوق"، "حبيبتي"، "لست أنسى"، "غاب"، "أنا عطشى"، "ندم"، "الغائب أبداً"، "غربة"، "الليل الدائم"، "أحبك"، "هل يرحل الحب"... إلخ.
