تشكل أقسام المجموعة الثلاثة (هم تناسوك ولم تنسى حينما خرست.. أدركت أنني سكنت الاندهاش، آخر المنتهى.. هكذا كنّا) وحدة موضوعية حيث يتصاعد الحدث وينمو فتقرب الشاعر رويداً رويداً من رؤاه التي تتشكل في الحلم "مأخوذ بحلم، يجرني لنزع قلبي، وقرب لحدي أتحسس الوجس، لأن لحدي يرفض أن يضمني، يرفض استضافتي لليلة واحدة، لأني لا أملك سداد فاتورة موتي".
لكنه وهو في قمة وجده لا ينفك باحثاً عن طريق يوصله إلى منتهاه: "حمحمة الريح تثقب الأذن، تطلق ساعدي للثرى، ورجلاً للبحر، ملح يلهب شفاهي، رمال يقطع الضوء يشعل الحجر، أمامي أراك واقفاً كالنخل".
لكنه في ليلة لا تعرف الخطى يواصل بحثه عن بوح آخر يشد الجنوح، وعينين باكيتين وهوس يضج بمشاعر الأم: "يبحث عنك عن أشيائك عن طلاء أظافرك وعن وجبة ساخنة في العشاء وعن طيف صوتك ومرآة ظلك".
