وإن الاستعراض السريع لسنوات صدور الرواية التجريبية الأردنية ليكشف عن بدء حركة التجريب في الستينات من القرن العشرين عقب حرب حزيران، وعن ترسخها في الثمانينات والتسعينات، بحيث تزامنت مع بدء حركة التجريب في كل من مصر والعراق.
لقد تناولت هذه الدراسة عشرين رواية لعشرة روائيين أردنيين ممن تحقق التجريب في أعمالهم على صعيد الشكل والمضمون، وقد توقفت الدراسة ملياً عند مضامين الروايات وحمولاتها الدلالية، وطرائق السرد الروائي فيها، والشخوص وحركتهم، والزمان والمكان واللغة في جميع هذه الأعمال.
