يندرج هذا الكتاب ضمن الجهد المنهجي لمقاربة التحولات المعاصرة في اللغة العربية وفنونها البلاغية وتراكيبها ودلالاتها، مثلما في وظائفها التعبيرية والتواصلية. ويتناول دراسة حالة (المجتمع اللبناني)، مكّنتنا من التبصّر في كيفيات صوغ الجمهور المنتفض مفاهيمَ جديدة للواقع السياسي العام، وتبريرها وشرحها ورفعها في شعاراتٍ والترويج لها، وارتقاب آثارها الارتدادية والنظر في حدود استجابته لمضامينها، كما أقدرتنا على تقصي الوظائف المتجددة للكلمات والتعبيرات ووجوه الخطاب في قطاعي الاحتجاج والاعتراض الشعبيين. ويرتكز الكتاب على أطروحة فكرية ولسانية متكاملة على صعيدي الرؤية والمنهاج، لذا رصد الديناميات التعبيرية المبتكرة التي أنتجها المجتمع المدني اللبناني، وطورها بين عامي 2015 و 2016، للتعبير عن توقه للتغيير السلمي؛ متناولًا الجوانب التعبيرية للمشهد الاحتجاجي الشبابي. فحلل نماذجَ وافية وموثقة لمجموعة من خطابات الاعتراض الشبابية ونصوصها الشعاراتية، المكتوبة منها والمهتوفة والمدوّنة على الجدران، وتعليقاتها الساخرة المبثوثة على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي. وبيّن بالشواهد أن الأداة اللغوية لم تقف حائلًا دون إيصال أصوات الاحتجاج التي رفعتها الحَراكات الشعبية التي تجاوبت مع ارتقابات مستخدميها.
