1- كشف تهافت فلسفة التربية فى صورتها التقليدية، تهافت يبلغ بها حد انعدام مقدرتها فى توجيه مشروع صناعة الإنسان فى المجتمع المعاصر. 2- غلقاء الضوء على حاجة المجتمع المعاصر إلى فلسفة جديدة للتربية تعتمد نتائج العلوم الإنسانية والإجتماعية ، مصدرا تستلهمه مفاهيمها ومبادئها ومعايير ممارستها. 3- تحديد معالم المنهج الذي يسمح بصياغة هذه الفلسفة ، وهو منهج ينطلق من التسليم بأن كل علم من هذه العلوم يتحقق وجوده من خلال الجدل بين مكونيه الأساسيين:- * التيار المؤسسى الذى يجسده التطور الخطى للعلم، ويضم هذا التيار الغالبية العظمى للمشتغلين بهذا العلم. * التيار النقدي ويمثلة خط تطور مواز ينتظم النقلاب النوعيه لتطور هذا العلم ويضم عادة قلة من المشتغلين به. ويتخذ المنهج من المنطقة الوسطى التي تنتظم جدل افكار هذين التيارين مرتكزا لإصطفاء الأفكار والنظريات الفعالة. ويسمح المنهج بتجاوز التضاد التقليدي بين ، الموضوعية - الذاتية ، الحياد - الإنحياز ، التراث- المعاصرة، ...... إلخ وبفضل هذا المنهج ايضا تعرف الفلسفة الجديدة للتربية تسميتها : مؤتلف علمى نقدي.
