اهتم المتكلمون وعلماء العقيدة من السلف والخلف بصفة الكلام ومعناها بالنسبة لله تعالى، وقد كثر الكلام في هذه الصفة الإلهية، وبالتالي تعددت الآراء في القرآن الكريم باعتبار أنه كلام الله- عز وجل- الذي انزله على خاتم أنبيائه محمد ﷺ، وعلى الرغم من كثرة الآراء الواردة في هذا المقام، والتي كانت سبباً في اتهام الفرق بعضهم البعض اتهامات وصلت إلى حد التكفير، إلا أنه مع هذا كله قد تركوا جانباً هاماً يتعلق بكتاب رب العالمين، ألا وهو: القراءات والروايات التي وردت عن رسول الله ﷺ، والذي يقرأ الروايات الواردة في هذا المقام يحار في أمر هذه القراءات، ويتساءل: هل هذه الألفاظ المختلفة في الإعراب، والكلمات المختلفة في الدلالات، وما ورد من حذف وإثبات ونحوه، هل هو من اجتهاد الصحابة وقد اقرهم رسول الله ﷺ عليه؛ فيدخل في باب السنة التقريرية؟، أم هو اجتهاد رسول الله ﷺ الذي أقره عليه ربه؛ فيلزم عن هذين الإحتمالين وقوع ألفاظ في القرآن الكريم من اجتهاد الصحابة أو النبي؟، أم أن هذه القراءات نزلت بأمر ووحي من الله- عز وجل؟، كل هذه التساؤلات ممكنة عقلاً ومحتملة في الذهن، والفصول والمباحث التي ضمها هذا الكتاب ستبين الحق الذي يجب اعتقاده.
