علم الحديث الشريف بعد القرآن الكريم هو أفضل العلوم، وأعلاها منزلة؛ لأنَّـه وحيٌ من الله عز وجل، مكمِّـل لدينـه، متمِّم لشرعـه، ولا غنى لمسلم عن فهمه واتباعه، فهـو الأصل الثاني من أصول التشريع الإسلامي بعـد القرآن الكريم، وألِّفـت في الحديث الشريـف كتبٌ كثيرة، فلا يكاد كاتب يكتب أو يؤلِّف مؤلَّفاً في التشريع الإسلامي إلا اعتمد على الحديث الشريف، وألِّفـت في الحديث الشريـف كتبٌ كثيرة، فلا يكاد كاتب يكتب أو يؤلِّف مؤلَّفاً في التشريع الإسلامي إلا اعتمد على الحديث الشريف، ولو اعتمد النحويون على الحديث الشريف في رصد التراكيب والأساليب بقدر اعتمادهم على الشعر لحصلوا على وافر منها ولسدُّوا جانباً من ثغرات استقرائهم غيـر التـام، مع أن لغة النثـر أولى من لغـة الشعـر في تقعيد القواعد؛ إذ النثر لغة العموم، والشعر لغة الخصوص.
وجذب هذا الجانـب من موضوعـات اللغـة العربيـة ـ أعني: لغة الحديث الشريف والاحتجاج بهـا ـ نظرَ الباحثـين المعاصرين، وأثار عنايتهم، فكتبوا عنه دراسات وبحوثاً مستقلة.
وكان قد لفت انتباهي عند دراسة النحو العربي وتدريسه لجوءُ النحويين المفرط إلى التأويل في غير ما ضرورة تدعوهم إليه، في حين يقول النحويون: إن التأويل لا يُلجأ إليه إلاَّ عند الضرورة.
ومن أجـل هذا آثرت أن يكـون موضـوع أُطروحتي دراسـة قضية (التأويل النحوي)، متخـذاً من الحديـث الشريف ميداناً تطبيقياً لذلك؛ إذ يدخل ذلك في مجال دراسة أساليب الحديث الشريف وتراكيبه، فصار عنوان الأطروحة: (التأويل النحوي في الحديث الشريف).
وشمـل البحث أربعـة فصول من مظاهر التأويل هي: (التأويل بالحذف)، و(التأويل بالزيادة)، و(التأول بالتضمين)، و(حمل بعض الأدوات على بعض). وكانـت فكرة البحـث تدور حول دراسة قضية التأويل النحوي في (شروح صحيح البخاري)؛ لإجماع أئمة هذا العلم على أنَّه أصحُّ كتاب بعد كتاب الله عز وجل، يزاد على ذلك أن العلمـاء اعتنوا بـه عناية كبيـرة فشرحـوه وضبطوه وأعربـوه، واعتمدت في نقل النصوص منـه على النسخة اليونينية، وهي النسخة التي عرضت على ابن مالك، وقرئت أمام جمع من العلماء.
