وقد قُسمت مادة الكتاب ثلاثة أقسام، اشتمل القسم الأول على نصوص أدبية مدروسة، والثاني على نصوص إضافية للدراسة، والثالث على تدريبات لغوية تناولت مهارات متنوعة.
