همومي الشخصية مُعقَّدة وقاسية، ملء دمي... تسري في شراييني وأوردتي كنيرانٍ عاجزة عن الإنطفاء بكل ما في هذه المدينة من مشافِ... رجال ونساء يشفون ويُطفئون النيران؛ النار تخرج من جمجمتي صاعدة إلى السماء تُحرق كل ما بداخلي من مشاعر الود الذي صار دُخانه يملأ الأفق ولكن لا يراه سواي.
خرجتُ من زواجي أحمل إذلالي داخل نفسي... كانت قطعة سكر قبل أن نتزوج، ولم أكن أتصوّر أن هذه الفتاة الرقيقة الخجول، يُمكن أن تُصدر كل هذه الكلمات القاسية المهينة التي زرعت المذلة في نفسي، وحطّمت رجولتي بقسوةٍ بالغة... سنوات من المعاناة في لندن لم يُنهها علاج بالتحليل النفسي الذي دمّر بقية كرامتي، وأهدر إنسانيتي... وها أنا أعود مرةً أخرى من حيث بدأت!!...
