الغالبية كانت تقول: "التسامح يعتمد على طبيعة الخطأ الموجه إلينا".. عدا صاحبنا كان متفرداً برده، حيث قال: "لا أسامح من أخطأ في حقي أبداً".. وهنا تدخلت طالبة إيطالية – لا يبدو عليها التدين أبداً ولا المحافظة حتى – وقالت: "ولكن الأديان السماوية تحث على التسامح.. أعلم ذلك لأنني مسيحية".
ثم قالت مستدركة: "أنا مسيحية على الأوراق فقط.. ولكن لديّ بعض العلم عن الأديان.. وأعلم أن الإسلام يدعو إلى التسامح..".
وهنا أخذ صاحبنا العربي نفساً عميقاً ثم أسند ظهره على كرسيه ليبدأ بالاسترسال في حديثه كما هي عادته في الحلقات النقاشية.. ومما قاله: "الإسلام يدعونا إلى الكثير من الأمور.. كما ينهانا عن الكثير منها.. فلو طبقنا ما يقوله الإسلام لكنا قديسين.. وهذا أمر يستعصي على الفرد.. فتلك التعاليم يستحيل تطبيقها على أرض الواقع..!".
