هذا الكتاب الذي بين يديك من الكتب القيّمة التي ألفت في التوحيد بل لم يكتب مثله، وذلك لكونه جمع بين المعقول والمنقول، واشتمل على أهم المسائل التي طرحت في هذا المجال مع ذكر ما قيل وما يقال في تلك من الوجوه والأدلة فهو كتاب يتميز من عدة جهات: منها: أنه قد جمع كل الوجوه الأساسية في المسائل، ومنها قد جمع الأدلة العقلية والنقلية، ومنها قد أقام الأدلة النقلية وقرّب ذلك من وجوه عدّة، منها أنه على جميع المستويات العلمية، وهذا ملحوظ في كتبه الفقهية وغيرها وهو نوع نادر في الكتب.
وقد قام الكاتب بإستخراج نسختين والمقابلة بينهما، ولحسن الحظ كانت كلا النسختين قد قوبلت بنسخة أخرى، وجعل الأصل النسخة التي نسخت من الأصل والتي كانت لإبن المؤلف؛ وأما النسخة الأخرى فقد عثر عليها في خزانة مكتب آية الله المرعشي النجفي وقد اعتمد عليها في أول المقدمة.
