تخرجت من كلية الطب البشري من جامعة تشرين في اللاذقية بدرجة جيد جداً عام 1982. حصلت على الاختصاص بأمراض العين وجراحتها من مشفى المواساة بـدمشق عام 1986. سافرت بعدها سنة إلى باريس للاطلاع وتقوم حالياً بتحضير دراسة عن أسباب العمى في سورية وستقدمها للفرنسيين في مؤتمر طب العيون القادم.
عضو اتحاد الكتاب العرب منذ عام 1994. حاصلة على جائزة أبي القاسم الشابي عن المجموعة القصصية الساقطة عام 2002 من بين مئة تخرجت من كلية الطب البشري من جامعة تشرين في اللاذقية بدرجة جيد جداً عام 1982. حصلت على الاختصاص بأمراض العين وجراحتها من مشفى المواساة بـدمشق عام 1986. سافرت بعدها سنة إلى باريس للاطلاع وتقوم حالياً بتحضير دراسة عن أسباب العمى في سورية وستقدمها للفرنسيين في مؤتمر طب العيون القادم.
عضو اتحاد الكتاب العرب منذ عام 1994. حاصلة على جائزة أبي القاسم الشابي عن المجموعة القصصية الساقطة عام 2002 من بين مئة وخمسين مخطوط. تطبع رواياتها في أهم دور للنشر مثل دار الرياض الريس بيروت، دار الساقي بيروت ولندن، الدار العربية للعلوم بيروت، دار النهار، دار نلسن بيروت. تطبع لها اتحاد الكتاب العرب أربع مجموعات قصصية وكذلك طبعت لها وزارة الثقافة السورية. تنشر مقالات نقدية عن كتب في الدوريات العربية والمحلية مثل أخبار الأدب، العربي، الدستور.. الخ. لديها مقال أسبوعي كل أربعاء في جريدة الثورة ومقالاً ثابتاً في جريدة الجزائر نيوز كل ثلاثاء.
