تحت عنوان "الصواب في معرفة القواعد والإعراب" يقدم الأستاذ عبد العباس عبد الجاسم، خلاصة خبرته في مجال التعليم لمعالجة ظاهرة صعوبة الإعراب لدارسي النحو العربي، وهي محاولة تهدف إلى سلامة اللغة، والحرص عليها من التشتت، والجفاف، والسعي إلى تقريبها من الناشئة، للإحاطة بها ومعرفتها وإتقانها.
إنطلاقاً من هذا الهم المعرفي، ولتذليل صعوبة إعراب المفردة، أو الجملة، أو التركيب، إنتهج المؤلف خطوات متسلسلة، فبدأ ببيان الجملة وأنواعها، وأركانها "مكملاتها، ثم أتبع ذلك بالتوابع ليوسع من مجال الجملة، حتى تصير تركيباً يحوي أكثر من جملة، وانتقل بعدها لتوضيح مهارة (التقطيع الجُملي) المبنيَّة على وفق أسس المعنى العام للجملة، أو الفواصل، أو الحروف والأدوات الواقعة في بداية الجملة.
ولم يجد المؤلف كما يقول "للمهارات والخبرات مجالاً، كي تؤدي مهمتها الناجعة إلا أساليب الكلام في اللغة؛ لأنها تخيط بالإعراب من جوانبه كلّه، وتعمل على بناء ملكة الطالب اللغوية والذوقية...".
ولهذا أخذ المؤلف بالمشهور منها، المتداول على الألسن وبغية التخفيف عن كاهل القارئ، جعل الأمثلة والشواهد، أكثرها من القرآن الكريم؛ ومن الشهر، كما أفرد باباً لموضوع قراءة العدد، معتمداً طريقة (التدوير) في قراءة الأعداد الطويلة.
إلى ذلك، اهتم المؤلف بــ "مهارات التدريب والتطبيق" فقدم أمثلة وتمارين وحلول مع الشرح والتفسير، يُمكن للطلاب الإستفادة منها للتحضير للإمتحان، وبهذا الإشتغال يتحقق الهدف النهائي للكتاب وهو معرفة قواعد النحو والإعراب.
