وقد جاء بهذا البحث في مجال التصوير الفوتوغرافي منذ نِشأت هذا الفن وأسبابه والتداعيات التي سببت الإهتمام الشديد بتطوره والعاملين والباحثين الذي ساهموا على تطور هذا العلم والآلية التي يقوم عليها علم التصوير الفوتوغرافي والكاميرا وأجزائها والفلم الحساس ومكوناته وآلية تجهيزه قبل عملية التصوير وبعد ذلك وصولاً إلى عملية إنتاج الصورة.
وانواع التصوير الفوتوغرافي وآلات الفلمية والرقمية وآلية عملهما وأنواع التصوير وحتى المراحل المتطورة لتناسب الدارسين والعاملين والمختصين والمهتمين بهذا النوع من الفنون، وأيضاً اللوازم التي يحتاج إليها المصور من آلات والتعرف على أنواع العدسات ومجالات التصوير والظروف التي تتحكم بالمصور التي يجب مراعاتها في عملية التصوير الفوتوغرافي.
