من أكثر المؤشرات والعطاءات المعتمدة في هذا الشأن قيام منظمة المقاييس الدولية ISO بإعتماد قواعد الجودة الشاملة وتضمينها إلى شهادة الآيزو المعاصرة ISO 9000: 2000، إذ أنها أشارت إلى إحتوائها ثمانية قواعد فكرية تم إضافتها إلى الشهادة الجديدة وفق الحاجة العملية الملحة لضرورة أن تكون متطلبات ومستلزمات الحصول على هذه الشهادة متضمنة للقواعد والمفاهيم الفكرية الحديثة في الجودة الشاملة.
ولذا فقد جاء كتاب إدارة الجودة في المنظمات المتميزة معبراً بوضوح عن الآفاق الفكرية والأبعاد العملية التي من شأنها أن تعزز سبل التطوير والتحسين المستمر وفق أبعاد إدارة الجودة الشاملة.
وقد تضمن الكتاب ثلاثة عشر فصلاً، حيث تناول الفصل الاول مفهوم الجودة الشاملة كمدخل لإدارة الجودة من خلال ستة مباحث، وقد تناول الفصل الثاني الإدارة الإستراتيجية: التخطيط والتنفيذ للحصول على الميزة التنافسية من خلال اثنا عشر مبحثاً، أما الفصل الثالث فقد تضمن ثقافة الجودة وقد تم عرضها من خلال ثمانية مباحث.
وقد تناول الفصل الرابع رضا المستهلكين والحفاظ عليهم من خلال ثمانية مباحث، وقد تناول الفصل الخامس تمكين العاملين من خلال سبعة مباحث، أما الفصل السادس فقد تعرض إلى القيادة والتغيير، وقد تناول الفصل السابع بناء الفرق وفرق العمل، وقد تناول الفصل الثامن الإتصال الفعال، وقد تضمن الفصل العاشر إدارة الصراع.
أما الفصل الحادي عشر فقد تناول إتخاذ القرارات وحل المشكلات، أما الفصل الثاني عشر فقد تناول التحسين المستمر والمقارنة المرجعية، أما الفصل الثالث عشر والأخير فقد تناول أدوات إدارة الجودة الشاملة.
وهذا الكتاب الذي سيكون مرجعاً أساسياً لطلبة الدراسات الأولية والعليا في الوطن العربي كما وسيكون مرجعاً موضوعياً لكل المدراء العاملين في حقول المنظمات الإنتاجية والخدمية والساعين إلى إدخال الفكر النوعي الشامل كطريق في تطوير المنظمات العاملة كما نرجو أن يغطي حاجة المكتبة العربية في مجال إدارة الجودة الشاملة وسبل إستخدام الأدوات الفاعلة في تحسين وتطوير الأداء الإنتاجي والخدمي في المنظمات العربية الهادفة عموماً.
