يقول المؤلف: إن الفلسفة هي فن وإبداع وتكوين المفهومات وتركيبها إذ ليس التأمل والتفكير والتواصل ميادين معرفية وإنما هي آليات لتشكيل كليات داخل مجمل الميادين.
إن كليات التأمل في الفكر الفلسفي يجد أن المعرفة اكتشاف للحقائق الأزلية الخالدة والذي يفكر في أصل الوجود وماهيته يلاحظ أن الإنسانية اتخذت إتجاهين رئيسيين في الفلسفة هما الطبيعة المادية والعقلانية المثالية أو الروحية وكانت الفلسفة تراوح بين الشك واليقين ولهذا تعددت التيارات الفكرية والمذاهب وتغيرت حسب الأزمنة والأمكنة والكل أراد أن يبرر إمكانياته في هذا المجال ...".
