وقد جاء البحث مقسماً إلى فصلين: الفصل الأول: في سيرته الذاتية والعلمية، استعرض فيه سيرة حياته بدءاً من بيئته ومولده ونشأته، إلى دراسته وعلومه و أعماله ووظائفه، كما عرفت في طياته بأشهر أساتذته وشيوخه، الذي كان لهم أثر واضح في تكوينه العلمي وشخصيته، ولم ينس أن يعرج على أخلاقه وشمائله التي حباه الله إياها فضلاً وكرماً.
الفصل الثاني: وتضمن الحديث عن آثاره ومؤلفاته سرداً لجميع ما طبع منها وتعريفاً بأهمها.
سلسلة تراجم لعلماء معاصرين من رجال القرن الرابع عشر والخامس عشر الهجري ممن أثروا المكتبة المعاصرة وتعريف بمؤلفات أولئك الأعلام.
