- تخرج في كلية دار العلوم جامعـة القاهرة عام ( 1995م )، وحصل منها على الليسانس في اللغة العربية والعلوم الإسلامية.
- والتحق بالدراسات العليا في قسم الفلسفة الإسلامية وحصل على الماجسـتير عن موضوع « الفلسفة التربوية بين متكلمي أهل السنة وعلماء الحديث في القرن السابع الهجري » بتقدير ممتاز، عام ( 2001م ).
- وحصل على الدكتوراه من نفس الكلية والقسم عن موضوع « مشروع النهضة بين الدكتور محمد عمارة والدكتور محمد عابد الجابري – دراسة تحليلية نقدية » بمرتبة الشرف الأولى عام ( 2008م ).
- وهو الآن مدرس للمواد الشرعية بالأزهر الشريف.

ما زالت قضية مرجعية مشروع النهضة الحضارية في الفكر الإسلامي المعاصر محور الخلاف بين « الإسلاميين » و « العلمانيين » في العالم الإسلامي، رغم أن الكل مسلمون ينطقون بالشهادتين؛ فكثيرٌ من قضايا الخلاف المرتبطة بمرجعية النهضة تعود إلى أبعاد عقدية ترتبط بالإيمان بفاعلية نموذج حضاري ما، وترجيحه على غيره، أو إلى أبعاد ثقافية متأثرة بالشائع من الأفكار والمناهج والأطروحات النهضوية، وقد تعود إلى أبعاد سيكولوجية أساسها الخوف من قيام سلطة دينية مماثلة لسلطة الكنيسة في التجربة الحضارية الغربية. وزاد من حدة المخاوف ممارسات العنف لدى بعض الجماعات الإسلامية في السنوات الماضية، ونزعة الإقصاء والتفرد المسيطرة على بعض دعاة المرجعية الإسلامية في الفكر الإسلامي المعاصر، ولمحاولة معالجة هذه القضية، وتحليل الدعاوى المرتبطة بها، والطرح المغاير لها، من خلال دراسة ماهية مشروع النهضة ومقوماته: العقدية، والثقافية، والفكرية، والاجتماعية، يصدر هذا الكتاب.
