بيد أن هذه الكليات جميعاً تنطوي، لدينا على مفارقة مفزعة، لأن هذه الكليات لم ننتم إليها بوصفها تشكيلات وتنظيمات محادثية لثقافتنا الحقيقية، بل لقد كانت عملاً خارجياً تخريبياً عابراً، خضنا ضده حروباً نظامية وشعبية سقط ضحيتها المنطق والتاريخ والهوية.. وأصبحنا نحن (الآخر).. فلا جرم أننا، حين ننظر في مرآة أنفسنا، لا نكاد نتعرف عليها.
