يأتى كتاب "فلسفة الدين: فى ضوء تأويل جديد للنقدية الكنطية" فى إطار حوار الأنا مع الآخر، على أرضية من العقلانية والموضوعية، حول موضوع يثير التفكير دوما وهو "الدين". ويقدم للقارئ العربي وجهة نظر فيلسوف ألماني كبير "كنط" فى الدين بعامة، واليهودية والمسيحية بخاصة. ولا يعرض المؤلف وجهة النظر هذه على نحو حرفى نصى، ولا يكتفى بالتأويل، وإنما يطرح نقداً عقلانياً لتحليلات الفيلسوف الألماني. ومن هنا يمكن القول إن القارئ باستطاعته أن يجد فى هذا الكتاب وجهة من النظر: وجهة نظر فيلسوف ألماني، ووجهة مؤلف مسلم عربي.
