رحب الأدباء الشبان بمحمد حسن عواد وعدوا «خواطر مصرحة» دستور الثقافة الحديثة، وهاج المحافظون في وجه الكتاب ومؤلفه، فصودر الكتاب، وفصل المؤلف من عمله.
