هذا الكتاب مساهمة من جانب المؤلف لإثراء المكتبة العربية لحقوق الانسان . والحقيقة أنه اذا كان ثمة من ميزة يحق لهذه الدراسة ان تعتز بها فانما ذلك مرجعة الى الأمور الاتية على وجه الخصوص الأمر الأول : وهو المنهاجية المقارنة التى اعتمد عليها المؤلف فى محاولتة رسم خريطة متكاملة لحقوق الانسان ونظريتها العامة من خلال مصادرها الرئيسية الثلاثة : الدينية ( السماوية والوضعية ) والوطنية والدولية ( العالمية والإقليمية) الأمر الثانى ويتمثل فى الحرص على الجمع بين الجانبين النرظى والتأصيلى من جهة والعلمى – التطبيقى من جهة أخرى لذلك فانه إضافة الى التركيز على تناول مختلف مفردات النظرية العامة لحقوق الانسان حرص المؤلف – أيضا على القاء الضوء على بعض التطبيقات الخاصة بحماية هذه الحقوق وبالذات على المستوى الدولى واما الأمر الثالث فيتمثل فى تضمين الدراسة عددا من الوثاق الدولية الرئيسة – العالمية والاقليمية التى تعد بمثابة الاطار المرجعى للباحثين فى حقوق الانسان والمهتمين بقضاياها والإشكاليات المختلفة التى تثيرها وأخيرا وليس اخرا هناك الامر الرابع والذى قد يكون ذا فائدة بالنسبة الى شباب الباحثين والمتمثل فى تقديم ترجمة باللغة الانجليزية لبعض مصطلحات حقوق الانسان الأكثر شيوعا فى اللغة العربية ذلك ضمن ماسماه المؤلف " قاموس مصطلحات حقوق الانسان .
