أما عن الرقابة، قد تم الإستفادة من نظم تكاليف الإنتاج كأداة للرقابة على العمليات الإنتاجية - ويتناول المؤلفان أيضاً الرقابة على أعمال المخازن، وعرض تقييم لأداء القطاع الصناعي من خلال المشكلات - والحلول. وفي ضوء الكونية يأتي دور إدارة الإنتاج في مواجهة التحديات العالمية (كقضايا معاصرة)، كما تم تناول مفهوم إدارة الإنتاج في ضوء إدارة الجودة الشاملة، وأيضاً الرقابة على جودة الإنتاج وصيانة الأصول الإنتاجية، والكفاءة الإنتاجية.
ولعل هذا يعتبر إضافة للمكتبة العربية ومساعدة للطلاب والباحثين والمديرين ورجال الأعمال في تنمية الممارسات الإدارية وتحقيق الكفاءة والفعالية لعمليات الإنتاج داخل تلك المؤسسات.
