Book Description
يحاول كريم مروة في هذا الكتاب تقديم بعض أفكاره حول تحديث المشروع الاشتراكي. وهو ينطلق في محاولته هذه من تجربته الطويلة والغنية في الحركة الاشتراكية اللبنانية والعربية والعالمية وعموماً، وفي الحزب الشيوعي اللبناني، خصوصا، مستخلصاً من هذه التجربة ما يراه دروساً ضرورية لليسار العربي المعاصر. ويدخل في سجال مع الأفكار القديمة التي سادت بإسم الماركسية، مستشهداً بنصوص بالغة الدلالة في كتابات ماركس وإنجلز وبليخانوف ولينين. ويعتبر مروة أن وظيفة هذا الكتاب هي تقديم مساهمة في إغناء معارف شباب الثورات العربية المعاصرة بالتجارب القديمة وبالأفكار الجديدة، ودفع اليسار إلى احتلال موقعه في هذه الثورات، والعمل بأقصى الجهد وبالواقعية ومن دون أوهام لإيصال هذه الثورات إلى نهاياتها السعيدة.
يقدم مروة بعض ذكرياته وإنطباعاته القديمة والحديثة عن الحركة الاشتراكية ومصائرها في ثلاثة بلدان هي المجر في زمن الاشتراكية، وكوبا الاشتراكية في زمن الحصار، وروسيا ما بعد الشيوعية. وهي ذكريات تسلّط الضوء على الخلل، وتحمل ملامح ما يقلق في تلك التجارب التي حصلت فيها تحوّلات بدأت مبكراً كما حصل في المجر، وما يزال بعضها متمسكاً بأفكاره كما يحصل في كوبا. وينشر في القسم الأخير من الكتاب ذكريات المناضل الاشتراكي الفرنسي بول لا فارغ مع كارل ماركس وفريدريك إنجلز. وهي ذكريات تقدم صورة غير متداولة لهذين الرمزين الكبيرين في حياتهما الخاصة والعامة.
