يتحدث هذا الكتاب ويناقش تاريخ الحاكم بأمر الله وهو الخليفة الفاطمي الذى حقق أحلام الشيعة لأول مرة ولقد كان معروف ان لهذا الخليفة الكثير من الأعداء من المسلمين السنه وحتى من القبط واليهود وقد فهم الخليفة هذا وأمر بتأليف الكتب لتنفي عنه الفكرة التى رسخت لديهم من الصاق فهم الكفر والإلحاد والتأله به.. ولقد كان هذا الخليفة طاغية حقا فاسمه يدل على طغيانه إلا اننا في هذا الكتاب تلمس شخصيته من زوايا اخرى مدهشة لا نجدها في غيره من طغاة زمنه فقد أصبح على حكمه المثاليه من إخلاص وعدل وتقوى وورع.
