تتركز دراسة هذا الكتاب في الجرائم التي تقع على الأموال، إذ يبين أولا المقصود بتلك الجرائم، عارضا إلى تقسيمها، حيث يمكن تقسيمها إلى جرائم إثراء وجرائم إضرار ويمكن إعادة سبب هذا التقسيم إلى تأثير الفعل الذي ارتكبه الجاني على ذمته المالية وذمة المجني عليه من ناحية، ومن ناحية أخرى فالأمر يتعلق بنية الجاني عند ارتكابه الجريمة ، كما يشرع في ذكر الأحكام المشترك بين جرائم السرقة والاحتيال وإساءة الائتمان، ويتناول أولا جريمة السرقة، مبينا أركانها كالركن المادي وعناصر ثم يبحث في موضوع جريمة السرقة إن كان المسروق مالا ذا طبيعة مادية كسرقة التيار الكهربائي مثلا أو خط الهاتف، كذلك أن كان المسروق منقولا ، هذا أو يقدم الكتاب وواقع أو بواعث السرقة مع الإشارة إلى عقوبة تلك الجريمة بالنظر إلى ظروف ارتكابها، ويتطرق كذلك إلى جريمة أخرى تقع على الأموال وهي لا تقل أهمية عن جريمة السرقة، إلا وهي جريمة الاحتيال إذا يعدد أركان هذه الجريمة مبينا غاياتها، والعقوبة التي تناسبها بناء على ظروف ارتكابها كما ويذكر الجرائم التي يمكن إلحاقها بجريمة والاحتيال، وهناك جريمة أخرى يعرضها الكتاب الا وهي جريمة إساءة الائتمان حيث يبين موضوع الجريمة.
